What it does

What goes in
One sentence on a listing page, for example "1600cc, under 125,000 km, 2010 or newer".
What comes out
The same page with only the matching listings left on it.
What you do
You type what you want. Sift searches, sets filters and reads the listings for you, at one credit per decision.

The story

Every listing site hides what you want behind its own filters. Sift works from your sentence, not from a scraper per site.

It is an agent, not a filter. It looks at the page, takes one action and looks again: at most four decisions, one credit each. A route that worked is stored for that site and replays free.

Two lessons took the longest. A count of blocks on a page does not find listings: a real listing has a price and a link of its own. And an action that succeeds but changes nothing is a dead end, so every step checks that the page changed.

It is not on the Chrome Web Store yet. You can load it unpacked from the site.
